Just had a second listen while walking this morning. It was mentioned that AD would make a perfect lock if he could tackle and later Naden was mentioned as being a similarly big bodied player who has had some lower grade success in the halves. Could Brent Naden be reinvented as a lock forward option? 🤔

if only AD could tackle, he would be a good 13

I get it that I may have slightly misquoted the pod comment re AD but my comment was really more about the future prospects of Brent Naden and he could possibly contribute in 2025.

I still have a glimmer of hope for Naden. If he can get his head space in the right place he’d be an awesome footballer.

Have to say I have a soft spot for him as well. Could be a real asset. But unfortunately he lets himself down so often with brain fades.

I was there for a long time as well Mike, but this past season he finally broke me.

Has raw talent. Misses the desire.

You need both.

I think he has the desire. He lacks concentration. Goes to sleep out on the field leading to bad errors

I would probably play him in the second row if we sign Hetherington.

I think unfortunately we might be stuck with Bateman if so I would play him in second row

don't like turuva at centre and very nervous about olam being fit for many games and I dint want starford or naden or AD or feledy in at centre

taylan may is not the best person but geez could be useful at centre if we can get big may over at prop

He wasn't listed in the updated squad on the website today.
