From licensed clubs, to real estate, property development, hospitality...at every stage that I have worked with them, there have been Roosters juniors involved, professionally, with a mentor, learning professionalism, life skills and business away from the football field. This is just in a very narrow field Ive seen.
Yeah yeah yeah....salary cap etc etc etc. We could only dream to have small percentage of the professionalism throughout all aspects of the organisation that the Roosters have. If I was a father of a young RL star, i would beg the roosters to take him and can only assume that it extends to all the higher levels as well.
My best mate is a high level Roosters sponsor and they treat him like a silkworm.

Fair enough, mate. But I cannot see how they can be that far ahead of everyone else in terms of professionalism that it demands that much loyalty when they have no juniors. Surely other teams would see what they do and be able to emulate it to a close degree. There has to be more going on regarding benefits to the players than just mentorship.
I am in no way saying that you are full of it or anything like that by the way and as much as it pains me to say, I would try to get my son there too.

No argument they do everything better and are more professional. In my opinion, this extends to player contracts and creative salary cap management. Then they cry like squealing pigs when anyone questions them. Happy for you to have your opinion opposite to mine but I won't be changing my opinion of this club.

Roosters are proactive. They have scouts and people all over the country. Most of the Central Coast is basically Roosters juniors.
Surely other teams would see what they do and be able to emulate it to a close degree. There has to be more going on regarding benefits to the players than just mentorship.
Its not "just mentorship". Ive had these "kids" (16-19yo) involved in business meetings, working professionally and after hours. It is genuinely life skills and business skill education. Im not sure who these kids are, whether they are the "next big thing" but the whole organisation is impressive. From what Ive seen Panthers have emulated sections of it with their licensed club development through the state.
Dont get me wrong, I understand that people dont like them because they are successful, mental gymnastics are required to imagine how they could be under the cap etc etc....I admire them.
