Wests Tigers Podcast - Talking everything Wests Tigers!
Great to welcome Declan back to the pod. Very enjoyable podcast once again.
On the Galvin situation it was interesting to hear from Aaron Woods on Matty John's Podcast. He seemed to be indicating that it could be a mistake to leave the Tigers. He said that he was in the same position at one time and the grass is not always greener. Maybe Woodsy felt his manager (Moses) painted a picture of his future elsewhere that was certainly attractive but not at all reality.
Hope it all gets sorted in a positive way for all parties but if not its always got to be Tigers first. We have to get a win somewhere.
@tgrzmn agree it was interesting to hear Woods comments. Im pretty sure Isaac is still his manager so I actually expected Woods to say something to support Galvin wanted to leave.
I enjoyed the chat about the influence of the player agents. To add to what was discussed - Isaac Moses manages head coaches at
Manly (Seibold) Im quite sure 80% of their roster is Moses clients
Cowboys (Payten)
Knights (O'Brien)
Warriors (Webster)
Dragons (Flanagan)
As Garry stated Moses moves players to clubs where he also manages the coach. So he'd be planning to move Galvin to one of the above listed clibs.
FWIW its worth the signings that Richo has made for us this year
Olam ( https://www.apexsports.com.au/)
Luai ( https://www.blackmoneyenterprises.com.au/)
Turuva ( https://www.facebook.com/risesportsmanagement/)
Richo has a long history with Sam Ayoub and signed a heap of his clients during his time at Souths (Robbie Farah was the last example)
Here's a slightly old list of Ayoub clients
As a wests/jets fan I thought the club folding could have been the worst outcome oh boy I was wrong,
Can't wait fir the next one ...... a post victory podcast. Woohoo!
