Eddies point about the quality of the Tim Sheens podcast interview was spot on. Pretty lazy series of questions I thought highlighted by 'best player you have coached' which Sheens made it clear he didn't want to answer only to have the same question re-worked another two times!
It was concerning to hear that Api is potentially injured though I did note Sheens referred to injuries in the podcast and he talked up Jake Simpkin which might indicate he is playing.
I think I heard there is an open training session today? Maybe we will learn more then?
I don’t mind if there’s only the one kind of “ice-breaker” type question but there was probably a few too many in this case. But thought the podcast was ok especially for anyone who is a fan and doesn’t know a lot about Sheensy.Enjoyed the pod guys

In regards to previous efforts against the Titans there’s probably a few reasons for that. They have been flat and I include the atmosphere at Leichhardt, not sure why. I’ve actually found the atmosphere better when crowds are around that 10,000 mark. When expectations are there for a big, vocal crowd, a sellout there seems to be plenty of boozing on the hill but not a great deal of atmosphere, kind of like a huge pub which is fine if that’s what you go for.
I agree with Declan I think who said X factor can play a part as well. It worries me a little in this game because I thought Brimson looked very sharp in the latest trial, he’s one to watch. Fifita and one or two others can also make one of those match winning type plays which the Tigers might not able to match. But if the Tigers can defend well then the’ll give themselves a great chance. Looking forward to it all and catching up with a few Tigers faithful.

Gotta say the list of alternate halves was pretty depressing. Fingers crossed the incumbents perform well and we can spend the warchest elsewhere.
It’s a bit of a waste of a beer if I’m to be honest especially as it now looks like a warm evening.
