I must admit that the latest podcast took me by surprise. All the guys on the podcast finally showed their true feelings. All were quite downcast after Sunday’s game and rightly so.

We were rubbish for most of that game.

I also see in some comments that Maguire still has some support. Baffling.

We HAVE gotten worse each year under Maguire but still he gets a pass from people. Inevitably those people either blame the playing group or our senior management.

Maguire has signed or re-signed everyone in our squad. Since Sheens has signed on Pascoe and Our chairman have been crickets.

We all know Sheens has a stubborn streak I’m waiting to see how long Sheens supports Maguire if things don’t turn around.

What gets me, is when the good clubs have injuries they still manage good results because no matter who they replace good first graders with, those new guys perform ok. They are coached better.

our top 17 aren’t the best. What does that say about the others in our too 30?

For the record, I hope Maguire does turn this squad around this year but I’m not hopeful - at - all.

You know all I heard in the second half of the pod was … waaaa they didn’t sack him last year… get over it, it’s boring….

They should have sacked him, the weekend showed that nothing has changed.

Stop sooking… I hope they extend him for another 2 years…

I do find it hypercritical for you to be into Brooks relentlessly but anyone who isn't happy with Madge is sooking,  maybe you need to stop sooking about Brooks?

I will if you will.

That's my point I'm happy for you to bag Brooks and support Madge, that is what a forum is for, just find it strange that people who aren't happy with madge are sooks but the pile on Brooks is ok.

Didn’t think you would. The problems with the players are not the coach. It’s much deeper than that. It starts at the Chairman and the CEO and filters all the way down through the organisation. Fix these two and you’ll fix the attitude problem that the club is rank with.

So literally everyone else's fault other than the coac

It’s the leadership at the very top of the club that is the issue, they set the standard for the behaviour of the club. Because of this some players know it’s OK just to turn up for the paycheque. Then you have others like Doueihi, Twal and Stef who will put in 100% every week. It was heartening to see Doueihi call the players out for last weeks performance.

We have just brought in Tim Sheens to help improve that area, you are not happy with that appointment?

The board and CEO are incompetent, I agree. The fact they keep sticking with this turkey is proof of that!

It wouldn’t matter who you replaced Madge with, you lot will be whining within weeks, because nothing fundamental would have changed with the club and results would be similar. The coach is not the problem. It’s what’s happening off field that is the root cause of the on field performances.

I wouldn't be whining within weeks, I gave this coach 3 years.

I am very happy with Tim being here. But he has an uphill battle getting things to change, especially when the leaders of the club off-field remain the same.

Biggest change is needed at board level but that is simply not going to happen.
