Running a bit late with things this week due to the weather causing a few internet issues, apologies.

The Wests Tigers are primed to go in 2022! We take a look at the Storm game, some contract discussion, the quiz, and a big debate about what should we expect from each other as fans.

I get annoyed when members of the podcast give their ‘holier than thou’ attitude. Example: the latest episode had a ‘Buy, Hold or Sell’ section and the first question was: Are supporters right to leave the game early or boo the team?

The next 15 minutes were about I don’t do that, I’ve seen personal abuse, I’ve seen you do that, I’ve watched fans abuse players over the fence, I left before half time for my own mental health.

The question was ‘Are supporters right to leave the game early or boo the team?’

The answer is Yes - to both.

Give a minute to explain your answer but please then move on. Sorry but 15 minutes of it is too much.

sorry about my rant.

I have rarely been accused of using too few words, so you are probably right lol.

Well Garry, on a side note I can honestly say that I have left more Tigers games early when we were winning. My dad and I used to try and beat the traffic chaos out of Leichardt Oval, if we lost we’d quietly sit and sulk while the crowd dispersed.

That was many years ago when I was a lot younger and my dad was still alive and we lived in Woonona.

Now I’m up here in Rockhampton growing old, watching some of my grandkids grow up.

Go Tigers

The highlight for me was Steve saying “this club has given me a lot of joy” and then rethinking and correcting his statement 😆

My dad does that to me all the time at sporting events.  My dad is that bad I think he would head home in the middle of a movie lol.

I love Rockhampton,  have relatives up there.

One of my worst experiences ever was a Wests Tigers v Saints game at Kogarah Oval in 2004, we lost 50-0 in the pouring rain and my wife and I were sitting on the hill. I would have left early that day but I was still alive in the doubles and waiting just in case Jason Moodie got over the line to win me $100. Horrible. horrible day.
