In term of the post match show-
If relying on talk back callers is a step too far in first phase- you could as a first step read out comments forum /Facebook and take the feed of the press conference and then talk off the back of that.
It would be important to ensure it doesn't replicate the normal mid week pod - but instead focus on live game reaction and emotion- and leave the cooler head analysis and bigger picture stuff for mid week.
I remember there was a crack at it either last year or the year before, I'm sure declan did a solo one from memory?
I think having unknown fans on live could be a bit risky from a legal point of view but certainly we could read out fan comments as they come in.
If your worries legal, may not be able to read too.many forum comments either - if we have another rear like last year. 🤣

Declan did one with his Dad who is also a member here.

An idea for different content: would the club assist in putting you in contact with former players? Whilst the current players may be limited by maturity/experience and be limited by what they can say, you would think retired players would be a) keen to talk because most lose the spotlight post career and b) be much more free to speak their mind and open up. The interviewer(s) should do their homework and make it a meaningful and relevant conversation but it would be a different type of content (not just week in week out tigers) but also preserve and document the stories of these club players

We have done that with the Ambush events, we had Billy Walters, Shawn Blore, Justin Pascoe and Keith Galloway at different events last year, I did about 20 min interviews with each of them that were quite detailed. We are looking at recording future interviews for use on Wests Tigers Podcasts and Wests Tigers Radio. We are also hoping to get some guests onto the pod directly as well.

Probably impossible but I wonder if other wests tigers podcasters (eg wests life podcast) would ever allow their content on wests tigers radio.
