lol, I heard it, I am a blow in, a Johnny come lately, definitely no an OG. Honestly call me what you want, just glad to have an opportunity to be involved.

Hi guys, well done on the new forum and bringing together these initiatives (podcast, ambush, radio, forum). I’m no expert but what strikes me is that you need to find a way to generate more content. I’m not sure whether replaying older podcasts is going to be enough to sustain the radio platform and also in this day and age on demand content seems to be much more popular although I think your idea of before/after game live shows suit the radio format (at least first broadcast). I wonder if there is a way you can generate more content from your ambush/forum members. At present you are limited by how much work the small group of you could produce in a week and as you say you all have other day jobs and commitments. I’m not sure how you can moderate other content providers (ie other forum members that want to create their own audio content) but I think you do have a pretty unique opportunity for other tigers supporters to use your platform to create content. I know I have lots of available time to listen to tigers content during the week (commute etc) so it feels like you need to leverage your platform more to bring in more content creators.

Good observations and correct. We would be open to other fans supplying content.

Nice to see positive,constructive and open criticism at play.Can only serve to strengthen the platform in all facets.

The idea of a talkback session is interesting. Whilst the current podcast allows the team to cover specific topics and is quite well run I wonder whether if the pre/post game live session would also expand to talkback session where fans can interact with the team and cover more areas. Ultimately talkback with the club (executives, coaches, players) would be extremely valuable and engaging for fans and unlike anything we have today. If these people are willing to go on commercial radio, surely they can come on a fan platform and talk directly to wests tigers fans.

We would love to make that possible, we are currently trying to build those relationships with the club, trying to get Pascoe on at the moment and even if that was just a regular pod we would seek discussion points from here.

Thanks for the support mate, it is very much appreciated, I agree about the post game show, maybe it is something we can try early in the season. We are recording again tonight so look out for that to drop.

Something we want to talk to the club about. From a purely mechanical perspective we can’t access the audio only file on those official site hosted videos.

In term of the post match show-

If relying on talk back callers is a step too far in first phase- you could as a first step read out comments forum /Facebook and take the feed of the press conference and then talk off the back of that.

It would be important to ensure it doesn't replicate the normal mid week pod - but instead focus on live game reaction and emotion- and leave the cooler head analysis and bigger picture stuff for mid week.

I remember there was a crack at it either last year or the year before, I'm sure declan did a solo one from memory?

I think having unknown fans on live could be a bit risky from a legal point of view but certainly we could read out fan comments as they come in.
