Garry channeling his inner lee hag to lawyer a ridiculous point based on an out of publication magazine. Unanimous decision to Jordan.

On the point of woods, in my eyes he sits in the same camp as hoppa. Loved him as a WT player, but feel dirty these days admitting it in public.

I’ll Judge. Jordan is right, Garry is wrong. Simples.

If a bowler gets 2 wickets from the last 2 deliveries of an over he can still get a hat trick with the first ball of his next over even though someone else has bowled an over between those deliveries....... a bit like getting 2 wins in a row and then having a bye before hopefully winning the next and indeed 3rd match in a row.

Just saying it is pretty similar and undisputed situation.

Sometimes it has been that the "hat trick" may not come until the next innings or dare I say the next time that player bowls in any match???

I think a better analogy would be to equate the bye to a no ball  w,w,nb,W is not a Hattrick just like w,w,b,w isn't 3 wins in a row.

@garry Good point except that the bowler actually participates in the bowling of the no ball. Not so with the bye. 🤔 🤣

If that result you refer to is recieving 2 points, (the points you recive for a win, not a loss and not a draw) then the three in a row is already achieved.

Your move.

You receive 2 points for a bye, which isn't a win.

A clear Jordan win on this one.

I couldn't stop thinking Jordan sounded like Nick Capper the comedian

But the 2 points we recieved last week was for a bye not a win.

Even Declan agrees with me.
