For me this week is a bit of a last line in the sand moment for this season.
I do NOT expect to win, but I hope to be seriously competitive, for the boys to put in for the full 80 and put ourselves in the frame. Do the simple things right.
I am hoping that the effort and execution of this week sets us up for the rest of the season as troops like Bula and Samuela return.
We play the panthers and sea eagles over the next few weeks who are on the edge of the 8 and are 2 wins ahead of us. It’s crazy to suggest but in theory we have a shot at getting in the 8. We would need to beat those two as well as titans and cowboys and then we would need other results to go our way but it’s been a long time since we have got to August and still have a shot at the 8.
