Good evening boys,hope you’re all still on cloud nine after last night.Whatever the case it should be abundantly clear to all and sundry that our immediate priority should be the signatures of Douehi and Hastings on long term contracts,whatever the case.Both are natural born leaders and either would fittingly sport the”C”next to his name.Aside from their obvious footballing talents the pair both possess the unflappable mentality we’ve been lacking for years.They are undoubtedly having a positive effect across the team,including the young boys coming through..
Point of note from lasts night’s game which I didn’t see referred to much in the forum thread: the crowd was huge and a great atmosphere. As a former new south Welshman now residing in Brisbane, it’s rare that I get the chance to swagger around in public draped in black and gold (or sky blue for that matter) without being mocked, so let’s just say that I made the most of it. Thought you would appreciate the local report…

Like a majority of Tigers fans, I feared what we were possibly facing before that Broncos away game.
The Broncos have been playing some incredible football and I honestly thought that Cowboys debacle was gonna play on the minds of the players and they wouldn't be up for it.
What a difference 2-3 weeks make!
Our attack all of a sudden is clicking and doesn't look so disjointed. Thoughts on why that is boys? Adam at 6? Hastings at Lock?
The Naden and Kepaoa swap has been a revelation too. Very impressed.
Brown has been great at DH too. Despite Api coming, I'd try re-sign him.
Laurie has been playing amazing since the Staines rumours too....hmmmmm
On defence the last two weeks we have been mostly solid and scrambling well...thats effort to me. Noddy and the crew have all of a sudden found some in this squad.
No longer am I thinking "oh crap, a set of six to defend on our line...we're screwed"
Very happy for Noddy & everyone involved behind the scenes!
Keep it going and the Spoon will definitely be off our hands. We are by far, NOT the worst team in the NRL and only 3-4 weeks ago, we were.
