Guys from the other forum, the guy who posted is pretty good it was not pom though
1) Kade Dykes is not on the clubs radar….
2) Club recognises the need for speed in our backline….Charlie Stains’s manager offering him to the club, but they want too much money. Club not willing to pay asking price.
3) Club is expecting IP to honor his contract, Parra is behind the media circus questioning whether he is coming or not.
4) Junior Tupou is highly regarded by the club…but he is quiet as a mouse, which is why they are playing him at FB in KOE cup to get him used to talking and organising the backline.
5) Blore could end up being a middle forward next year to suit our “attacking style” which the coaches want to bring back.
6) club wants Douehi to develop to be another Jack Wighton #6
7) Joe O….still in negotiations, club want him to sign on for next yearmoney could be an issue.
Highlight of the day for me was Steve’s anecdote leading to first question to Alex Twal at the Ambush event. Steve the bustling big bopper scoring his first try in the juniors. Sure it was the 7 year olds but we all have our salad days. Ahhh, the memories.
Good evening gents!
Disappointing to lose to a NSW Cup side and it doesn’t give me much hope to avoid our very first spoon but it is what it is.
I didn’t mind the new combo, liked Doueihi at 6. Man we really need an organizing composed half back. Someone with a very good kicking game. Surely Sheens is looking for another Scott Prince. I don’t think Brooks will be in his plans. I hope Brooks goes to Newcastle and finds a new lease of life. Not working for both parties and we’ve tried so damn hard to make it work.
Hastings at 13…I agree. Dunno what to do with him. At this stage I would say 7. But I don’t think he’s our future 7 if Sheens has a Scott Prince type signing in mind.
We badly need a metre eater, someone who can make post contact metres.
Getting sick of these avg 20-30m sets going forward.

Everyone says that we are strong in the juniors and we have seen a few bright spots in Pole, Matamua and Tumeth. I know Sheen's rate DaSilva but what other players should we keep an eye out for? In particular any good halves coming through?
@canberratiger that’s a good question

I can't listen anymore, I clearly watched a different game.
AD was poor in the first half, he was far from our best. Brooks creates the space with speed, AD stifles it because he runs when he shouldn't.
Hastings isn't a long term option at 13, he'll get an offer to play 7 and excel somewhere else, all to placate players who aren't good enough to earn their own positions - madness.
Sheens wants to play like 2005 with players who don't have the ability. He thinks we still have Prince and Benji.

Just remember we had as many starters out as they did - and they have greater depth.
He capitalised on a good season and cashed in. He could have held out for a season but didn’t. Blame your manager.
Good pod guys, lots of good points especially around the halves. No easy solution in my mind. Hope Sheens has an ace up his sleeve.
Sorry guys, missed the live pod tonight.
But look forward to listening to the pod tomorrow.
