The Wests Tigers (and us fans) have enjoyed a much-needed weekend off, and with this comes a great chance to deliver our mid-year report card.
On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, Joel, Josh, and Nick come up with their own individual take on several aspects of the season so far. These include:
- Biggest surprise?
- Biggest frustration?
- What needs fixing in the short and medium term?
And we have the Wests Tigers Podcast, Mid-Year Player Awards, with categories including:
- Best player
- Most improved player
- Best signing
- Best young player
- Most disappointing player
And one last category, are you more hopeful or less hopeful as a Wests Tigers fan than you were in Round 2? Of course, the boys also discuss the big news that the Wests Tigers are off to Las Vegas in February 2027! And, how do we feel about the possibility that Connor Watson could be coming to Tiger Town? All this and more on this fresh edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast! Thanks for listening or watching, and don't forget to have your say on anything to do with the club on the Wests Tigers Podcast Forum.
Wests Tigers Podcast - Talking everything Wests Tigers since 2018!
I agree with you all that having a bye weekend is very refreshing for us as fans. We can only hope that the team has been able to refresh and regroup ahead of their next challenge. It seems that every game now is "crucial", but this one would be a great time to stop the losses and begin the return to form. It certainly won't be an easy match with the Dogs finally grabbing a win, interestingly over a depleted Storm missing several players in key positions they performed like we have these past few weeks.
I too am disappointed in Toa and his ability to contribute to our season in the dominant way we might have anticipated. Surgery or retirement seem to be his real options at this point in time.
On the other hand Ethan Roberts and his potential are a real positive to come from our injury crisis.
Looking forward to the team list coming out tomorrow afternoon.
