Absolutely loving Joffa this year. Do you guys reckon he will move back to 13 or will Hastings keep the spot? I imagine it will hinge on what Brooks does next year...
I think Hastings will stay at 13, pushing Joffa to prop.
In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)
Finally had a chance to listen to the interview. It was very good thanks Garry. Offa is an impressive guy, think his hunger is genuine and we need more players like him. Hope the re-signing happens quickly.

I have no idea what they will do, but I like the idea of a bigger body at 13 with this pack. No idea what that means for Hastings. IMO although it worked last week against an out of sorts NQ, week in week out, this pack is not strong enough to have the luxury of a small 13 and Joffa was in career best form (Agree Garry) at 13.

Finally listened in to this pod, well done @Garry thank you! Joffa has been a positive in what otherwise has been a bummer of a season...
Re the above comments, I saw Joe on the Fox pre-game show last night saying that Benji told him he wasn't a ball-playing 13 which he said hurt. Then Benji text him before the next game telling him to just run the ball up hard, which he said he did.
Unfortunately I don't feel positive about him re-signing. If Joffa has basically been told that he will be a prop carting the ball up that can't be very inspiring - and there will possible be other bigger bodies more suited to the task.
For many years now I have been lamenting that we don't have enough footy smarts on the field, or enough players that are invested in the club. Joffa seems to be both and we'd be a much poorer squad without him, so I do hope both parties can sort out the situation at least for next year.

Is this Benji’s first coaching black mark?
I dont think there would be any way to put a positive spin on letting Joffa go. He is exactly what this club needs. The fact that he has reliably performed at this level when the rest of the team/club has been useless says all there needs to be said.

Take a long hard look WTHQ this is what leadership looks like…
I wholeheartedly endorse Jackson Hastings and Joe O’fahengaue to be our Capt and VC going forward for this club, both have the leadership qualities that this club has sorely been lacking for a number of years.

Hard to disagree with this mate!
