I went

3 Api

2 Galvin

1 Sezer

These three ultimately were responsible for the win despite Api's bad missed tackle that led to a try and Galvins hip drop.

HM to Stef, Olam, Bula, Samuela.

Staines defence was fantastic as was Batemans.

He certainly was. Staines actually hurt Sivo and made him ineffective for the next 65 minutes after Sivo scored.

Bulla is deceptively quick.

Bulla is deceptively quick.

So is Galvin. Galvin has looked slow to me but when he poked through the line to set up Bulas try, his change of pace was impressive. For both of them it might be the long legs that make them look slower.

Wow, that’s an upset! I love these polls as it throws up so many interesting things like:

  • the spread of votes across nearly all players shows the team are all contributing
  • how api can be that influential on the field and only get 1 vote is crazy (I didn’t vote for him though, ha)
  • in the same vein, I must have been the only one to vote for olam…you are all out of your mind
  • Stef outpointing Galvin suggests everyone has been awaiting this version of him for a while and is stoked to be seeing him realise his potential

Yes very interesting. I thought I gave Api two points.  He did have a great game though. Only 3 players didn’t register a vote suggesting a strong team effort.

Yes, Api got 36 votes and finished in 4th, sorry I made an error there.

Aha, that makes more sense. Bud just asked for a recount of his votes too.
