Have had all the ball to start the game but unable to take advantage and the Cowboys score first.

I only caught the last 10 minutes of this one. An unfortunate loss at the end. Did they have opportunities early in the game to put it away?

Had a lot of chances very early, dominated field position and just couldn't take advantage. That reversed in the second half and we showed some really strong goal line defence. Error at the end from Pollard was unfortunate as she had a strong game. Sarah Togatoki was simply amazing.

Should have went for the try at 10 all instead of going for the two with 21 to go. But they aren’t far off the pace in the comp, but they will come up short of finals I believe.

Cheers. Hopefully they can get some polish as the season progresses and start taking the opportunities a little more. I’ve been enjoying these games just hard to watch when on early in the day.

Errors hurt them.

I've got to add that I thought the ref gave them a lot of leeway in the ruck, they really pushed it to slow down our play the ball especially in the last quarter. What got up my nose was a leg-pull after the ref called the tackle had been made, and the defender grabs a foot, drags the player 180 degrees. Penalty there with only a few minutes to go, and it is game over. I know we need to be better but so do the refs because that should be a penalty every time.

And as their last play showed, we really missed our specialist full back.

After watching games on TV and live, there is a lot to like about this team and they have plenty of improvement left in them. One thing I would like to see more of is legs tackling to stop the post-contact metres the bigger opposition players get easily from us. That alone would stop a lot of momentum our opposition tends to enjoy.

The Cowboys were crowding the ruck constantly, our players were giving a shove to the cowboys markers throughout the game and it eventually led to us giving away a penalty. The ref needed to control this better.

Yep it's a shame to see this coming into the NRLW and if the refs don't jump on it the rucks will become as bad as the men's and just as hard to officiate.

Another game we should have won tbh. Felt the absences through the spine dearly.

Get the full strength team out and they can make the finals.
