No reason they can't both alternate out of dummy half and play what they see ....Peachey in my opinion always got the Titans big men on the front foot when he played hooker .....might help Hasting find some extra space .....hopefully our recent record v Newcastle gets into their heads

Off topic but Renouf is the best centre I've seen. What a player. I saw the number of tries he has scored for the Broncos the other day and I've added the stats below compared to Nofo.
Renouf 183 games for the broncos with 142 tries.
Nofo has played 164 games for us with 88 tries.

We may not agree but to me you pick your best players week in week out baring injury in an attempt to build match combinations to win games.. changing for the sake of changing is not an optimal direction as far as I'm concerned..
Yep. Brooks was one of our best players and maybe our best. Sure he isn't great and if we had a ready replacement I'd replace him but we need a ready replacement. Gildart looked good. He deserves more chances than that. I also couldn't tell that Gildart was at fault for the tries scored on that edge. Was Tuilagi at fault ? Was big Ken ? Was it Brooks ?
I think the same team will get picked. I'd have that hooker to the bench simply because it's asking too much of Simpkin to play big minutes. I thought that was SImpkins best game in the top grade. His service was good and his defense wasn't bad. He had no running game but I also didn't see poor passes at critical times to our halves.
Watch the replay of the 1st Melbourne try .....it's a 4 on 4 ...and Gildart decides to comes in off his man ......Gildart didn't once try and beat his opposition defender on the outside and his step inside was so predictable after the 2nd time he did ....
I reckon you're a tough judge, Unhap. Melbourne had really good shape on that play with an extra player coming in behind on a straight line. I think he was caught between a rock and a hard place on that one.
Re the step inside, I don't think they were bad decisions in the moment. Typically, Storm had that cover pushing across and for a small bloke it would be suicide to try the outside himself and I don't think there was enough room from the D line to bring Ken around.
And he did run on the outside once... on a skinny side and took the tackle 😉
