Pretty telling that with 5 starters out injured, there are 4 fit starters (Peachey, Liddle, gildart, Ken) that don’t make the 27.
Credit to madge for making players accountable and changing the team - if he kept the same 17 he might as well hand in his resignation.
I think up to this point, the loses (barring newcastle) were gutsy and full of effort so understand not dropping players until this round.
But wish he had of gone harder on Brooks.
Would of preferred Brooks at 14 and Madden at 6
Or Madden 6, Peach 14 and Brooks to Newcastle.
The concern of our 4 playing captain 3 have been dropped or demoted. They are the ones meant to be setting the standard.
I'd be changing the leadership group to AD, Hastings, Joffa and Tamou asap also.

I'm not overly impressed with the side, I don't like Madden on the bench. If you want Brooks at 6 then select him there and drop Madden, if you want Brooks to play hooker pick Madden at 6 and Brooks at 14.
I like how Garner has defended and filled in at centre but we need better than a defender in the centres.

I also was very critical of liddle (and have been for a while) but my main beef is he is not an 80min hooker and just needs simpkin coming off the bench. Dropping him altogether just shifts the same burden to jake.

Well you don’t get coached to throw forward passes, kick to the tryline without any height or throw passes along the ground… so no… I can’t let that abysmal performance go.

Not much chat about peachey. His sin bins have been inexcusable but he still has added something in attack when he has come on. Not trying to hang more crap on brooks but I’d have peach in over him on the bench. Thoughts?

I would have Peach at centre over Garner, I'd go as far as having Brooks at centre before Garner.
