Team is as expected. I was unrealistically hoping for Tuki to get a bench spot to offer some second phase play.

Bench is better for sure but the issue is our starting middle is not as strong with Tamou there.
Tamou is a good in, like the front row it is solid.
It will be interesting to see if WT release Garner in the near future.
Which would allow them to up grade Rua and still have that 1 spot available for the top 30.

I don't think there is enough depth in the second row to do that.

Considering we’re missing Sean Blore and Tommy Talau who is potentially back row bound,I think that would be compromising our balance.In my opinion we can’t afford to thin out the back row unless these young guns start to make their presence felt.

Last week our middle ran out of steam with about 20 minutes to go. I'm not a Tamou fan but his inclusion should give our front row a better rotation, leading to less exhaustion later in the second half.
Simpkin and Peachey both fit? They looked to have shoulder issue against Storm…
