NRL Team Announcement: Round 19
Wests Tigers have named a 22-man squad for Sunday's Round 19 match against the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville.
The big storyline around the game is James Tamou making his 300th NRL appearance. The 33-year-old prop will chalk up the career milestone against the same club that handed him his NRL debut thirteen years ago.
Tamou returned from a two-week injury spell (calf) to play his other former club, the Panthers, last weekend. He comes into the starting side, pushing Zane Musgrove to the bench.
Brent Naden returns after serving a four-game suspension and has been named on the wing, replacing Junior Tupou.
Alex Seyfarth and Tyrone Peachey both return to the side and have been named on the bench.
Wests Tigers are aiming to snap a six-game losing streak having suffered a narrow loss to the Panthers on Sunday.

@avocadoontoast No use being confused Sheens is back so every week will be confusing ..How Tuilgia gets a start just so lazy and thinking about the girls on the Northern beaches this off season ! The selections are a bit puzzling .. interesting about Noffo not so much Robert’s .
Naden at wing instead of centre
Tupou dropped
Seyfarth back in the team
Tuilagi still in the team
Can anyone explain any of these things?
Maybe Nofo is being given time to prove fitness? A late inclusion would have one of the youngsters out, Naden back to centre.
Starting to remember why a lot of fans wanted sheens sacked
Wow…What a disappointing team selection, especially that bench Seyfarth and Peachy what happened to looking yo the future.
I’m ok with this team…. Unlike a lot on here today. We have to give the Hastings @13 ago. Wouldn’t be sad to see our no7 pick up whatever Roberts and Nofoaluma had.
Musgrove to the bench was a must and I’m happy with both Peachey and Seyfarth’s inclusion. Matamua needs time and wouldn’t surprise me Jacko spending some time at dummy half.
It’s a long long pre season guys !!
I appreciate your positivity @LoganR21. I'll cheer the lads on but I reckon Noddy will need a lot more than storytelling to stay within 20 of the Cows.
Very uninspiring Bench........I think we are in for a belting.

Yeah I don’t think we can win up there …but it will depend heavily on our forwards and line speed. Should be a dry track so hopefully we can stay with the cows as long as possible. Final team may look atad different at kickoff. Which I’m not a big fan of and I’m gathering the betting agencies also. But NQ are coming off a loss and are playing 16th place tigers. Pressure could well and truly be on the home side.
Just on a side note for the cows…
L Lulia is playing prop 🙂
Im sure Luc is enjoying the extra $$$ and playing in a successful team, but I wonder how much he is loving playing in the middle in the heat of Townsville. He will be wistfully remembering his days bludging out wide at Campbelltown.
He will have to get used to it with the young back rowers up there.
