I try as much as I can to give the negativity as wide a birth as possible and reading and/or hearing such news about the club (it's difficult to avoid at times) does worry me. I hope the tide turns soon because it can damage the club in many ways. For now I try to lighten moods a little so last week at Wests Leagues Ambush event I gave a few people I don't know all that well a hug. Fortunately those people, Steve, Kelly and Keith took it well. I gave Garry a miss as the big man with the big beard is a little intimidating. Just kidding, actually I might get him at Leichhardt this Saturday night, we both might need it. A thought did cross my mind today that perhaps I should post on Twitter and here that I'll be offering hugs to any Wests Tigers fans on Saturday night should they need one just for a fun thing to do but fearing a mass stampede towards me I quickly thought better of it. Whatever the case I love the club and I'll be there cheering for them, that's what I do best.

I have been told that Garry isn't a hugger.

Rusty there's only one way to find out...... 😃

@frullens thanks mate unfortunately still symptomatic so working from home. I tell you what it knocks you around different than the flu

I’m on about day 10 and I still have a sore throat and horrible cough. Just doesn’t seem to go away. It’s awful

I hope you feel better soon Avo - rest up mate and take the time to look after yourself.

If it makes you feel better, I'm on day 8,381 of being a Wests Tigers supporter, and I still have a sore head and an uneasy feeling in my tummy, that doesn't seem to go away either.

Hopefully both will get better soon!!!

Haha thanks mate. Maybe I don’t have covid and it’s just symptoms from being a long time Tigers fan.

Perscription:

Have a review & replace the coach

Repeat every 2-3years, or as required

If symptoms persist, bring back an old club identity that was previously sacked

😄🤕🤒🤢

If you need a pick me up - watch the interview of Justin Matamua before he makes his debut tomorrow.

No NRL game is a trial - they are all legit matches

I got to admit, I was feeling pretty flat about the clubs position before Saturday - the coaching situation, the spine, the player morale, etc.......

But, the young players that have come. Into the team have really given the team some punch and spark and given us something to be hopeful for.

- Pole 👊👊

- Matamua 😤😤

- Junior 💣💣

- Dias 💪💪

You add to that The Big Ute 🛻🛻

And the young crew are really offering something that I'm going to run with for the rest of the year

Hopefully on top of that the coaching situation is sorted in coming days too. We need to resolve the halves issues and look at replacing/refreshing some other areas of the 2023 squad asap.

If we sign Tumeth up, I think he will be the next one to get a crack.

I've read a couple of posts tonight, where people are at breaking point with the club. I'm feeling you

Feel free to post in here how your feeling and we can support each other. If you support and care for the club, it's only natural to be frustrated, given our situation. We as a forum are a community and here to support each other.

I find in the tough times, the forum can give me more joy than I get on the footy field.

I can't promise that things will 100% improve (no one can)

But while I can see many of negatives, I can also see plenty to be excited about.

I truly hope this is our rock bottom and a time we make meaningful change which sets us on a upward trajectory.

@frullens We are a tribe and a family of sorts , I miss the old days of having every other weekend meeting up with my footy family at home games discussing what has transpired over the preceding fortnight . This is why I am so adamant for pushing for one home ground .. the management of this club has destroyed this personal social interaction and in my opinion have been negligent in there actions in this regard .I find this site a mature and respectful place to visit , we all deal with things differently our views are varied and wide .. I can be abrasive with my comments at times but respect that I am able to post them here. It is consoling that our tribe still have somewhere to express there  views . Might even drop into an Ambush event at Wests leagues as I am impressed with all the guys efforts in this regard and there Podcasts are a  listening must your efforts are very appreciated!

Would love to have you at an Ambush event mate, the first part of your post is exactly what we are trying to achieve with the Ambush. A big part of my connection with the club is the connections to other fans and it is why my membership is so important to me. I have sat in the same seats at LO for over 20 years and the relationship I have developed with those people keeps me connected to the club, even when I am starting to feel disillusioned with the performance. That is why we started the Ambush, to try and create that community feel and I must say that is building for me, So please come along to one of events and make sure you come and say hello, I am a little shy so just ignore my awkwardness at first. lol

Great work @snake !

Living in Melbourne I can't attend games - and so jealous of the experience and community that can be built through attending games and events such as the ambush.

(Even if I lived in Sydney my carer commitments for my 9yo son on the autism spectrum, makes attending events very difficult anyway).

So I really appreciate having this connection online and feeling part of the tribe and community.

PS. Im taking my 7yo to a Storm game this Sunday fir his birthday. His birthday was in April but this was the first game I could manage to arrange caring help for his older brother. Very keen to watch some love footy with my son (even if it's Storm and not WT)

Love your work snake!

I think we might need this thread as the adrenaline from the wonderful bunker performance today wears off.

The NRL took away any safe spaces for Tigers fans today.
