What I love about footy, is being part of a tribe, the banter, the shared experiences, and knowing we look after our mates

I'm naturally an optimistic and positive person, but I must admit I've found it hard over the last month to find things to be positive about.

Thankfully this forum is one of the most civil and supportive WT places. But after so many years of disappointed it's only natural our supporter base is losing morale.

I thought this thread can be a safe space to share how you're going, where we can pick up our morale and share some positivity.

So thank you @mike!

Frullens, I really appreciate your starting this thread and generally your contribution to the forum. On the basis of me appreciation of what you have done, I'll play along in what I hope is the spirit of your post.

Im struggling badly. I have my own small consultancy business which is successful but completely overwhelmed at the moment. On top of that my Dad is currently in hospital and about to be transferred to nursing home.

Im struggling to keep my head up these days. On top of all this, Im a Tigers fan.

I genuinely appreciate this place.

Battling covid day 4 otherwise would have gone to Ambush event to hear Sheens

At least even though we are going bad we are still in the comp and not north Sydney bears

the tide will eventually turn for wests tigers

@Tiger5150 I genuinely always appreciate your thoughts and posts.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I understand the transition to nursing home can be intense for everyone involved.  But I'm sure your dad appreciates you being there with him at this time.

I'm thinking about going into consultancy. I'm stressed about being too quiet, but I guess it's stressful being too busy also!

Stay in there mate, surfing for yourself it would be hard to allow yourself some time off. But family and health are always the most important.

Rest up Jedi. I was so tired when I had covid.

Your right mate, at least we are in the comp. Gotta be in it to win it.

The tide will turn. Look at Souths, they were kicked out, got back in and were absolute bottom, and now can be described as a powerhouse.

Every team has its time in the sun and time in the shadows. Even broncos have had a few tough years.

Even though we are rich bottom, I do feel we're are putting things in place which will move us in the right direction

Thank you, I might just take you up on that.

I go between being really excited and then being totally scared.

It's a big gamble, with family savings,  mortgage etc but if i can get it right could be the best thing for the family.

We are just moving house and I've we are settled in going to look at getting everything set up.  Then look for the right opportunity to make the jump.

Mate, if you ever need a chat, whether it be about life, football or just rubbish reach out, we all go through rough patches and it is only with the support of others we reach the other side.

Empathy for the tough times you are having. Stay strong and keep your chin up. Running a business is not easy. Having a parent requiring nursing home care is also very difficult. It was one of the most difficult decision I ever had to make. Although you may not be able to see it right now the outlook will get better. Even though we battle it out on the forum, I’ve always respected you. You have friends here.
