Thanks for your support of Wests Tigers Radio, it’s heartening to see people listening in pretty much 24/7.
It’s been great to be able to bring you the live broadcasts after matches/Sunday etc. too, not surprisingly these are peak listener times.
What next for Wests Tigers Radio? Well, as part of trying to build this community of fans we’d like to ask you to be involved.
Maybe you’d be interested in putting together a weekly Wests Tigers wrap up? Maybe some segments on the history of the club? We’re open to content ideas!
Maybe you’d be up for a 10 minute phone/Zoom chat about how you came to be a Wests Tigers fan?
We’re also keen to have guest hosts on the podcast as well.

If you can crowd source shows and get a solid 5-10 hours of weekly original content that would be amazing - you cna then spread amongst that pre-recorded filler content.
I've got a few ideas for shows or filler pieces - I'll work up a list and happy to look into trying my best to be involved somewhere.
Quick question though - are you able to play other podcasts on WT radio - for example if SEN have a WT player interveiw they snip into a pod, can you play it on WT radio? Or is there licence issues?
Likewise can you play the weekly player and coach press conferences?

Re other people’s content, ie SEN. Generally it’s ok, so long as you attribute it to them.
Audio from player press conferences etc is a little hard to get ie just getting that audio off those videos.
Using these would also need a recorded introduction so listeners know who it is and when it was recorded. That’s all possible but sometimes work commitments make that really difficult.
@Garry is keen on a wests tigers news segment, I think that’s something we definitely need to look at.
Again, I really like the idea of breaking up the existing content with chats with other fans about their journey as a Tigers fan too.
