@tiger5150 Talau on top 30 based on media reports this week. Tumeth has a 3 year contract but not clear whether he is top 30 or maybe development for another 12 months?
Talau gets us to 27 therefore two spots left.
Yeah Im shocked to be honest. IMO hardly did enough when fit to warrant a Contract and then had a potentially career ending catastrophic injury. I Would expect there would need to be some validation before that decision. Hope Im wrong and they are right but before his injury Im not sure he offered more than Asu, Toa or even Tupou.

There were some glimpses of class from Tommy, hopefully he and Blore kick on.

Sheens always says 'youre not a first grader until you have played 50 games."
I remember Talau was playing his 50th game when he blew his knee. Many of those played on the wing which is not a natural position for him.
I hope he gets back to full fitness and proves he's a better option that Starford at right centre.
Updated with Tumeth re-signing.

@garry Thank you for your list. If I counted correctly WT have 27 players contracted for 2023 so far. But I thought Tom Talau has also signed a contract which would make it 28. The make up of this squad depresses me. Even with Koroisau and Papalii a very weak squad. So many players not at first gde standard eg. Gildart, Kepaoa, Musgrove, Peachey, both Simpkins , Blore, Fainu, Talau while young players like Pole, Tumeth, Tupou, Reilly and Rua won't be in my opinion ready for first gde until late next season at the earliest. And Nu Brown is not on this list. Sounds like the Bulldogs will snap him up - I'd rather he stays than some of the ones I've named above. Will be hard to offload the deadwood. Helps me understand why Benji is chasing Munster and/or Moses so hard. To state the obvious if WT can't sign at least one gun front rower (and there aren't many available) a gun second rower and a top half next season is going to be longer than this season. What a difficult task for Sheens. We need someone as experienced as him to address this mess. 2023 will need even more patience than 2021 and 2022 combined.

Tommy has signed a new contract but I won't add it to the list until the club announces it. Nu Brown was offered a new deal but I don't believe he was happy with the offer. Peachey will be out for staines in the next couple of weeks.

Garry I think one of our development players Apisalome Saukuru moves into the top 30 also next year.

My understanding is he is still a development player next year.

@garry Thanks for the Musgrove update. So that is 27 at the time of writing which gives us a lot more flexibility. If your mail is right we could still end up with at least Gildart & Peachey out the door which would give bring us down to 25.
Lee H on SEN this morning was asked about Klemmer and he said 'plenty happening in the recruitment space which is exciting.'
