I cant imagine he would uproot his family from Qld to Sydney for an assistants job?

He was very close to coming down when Tim Sheens came back, he was going to do a development role but they couldn't secure the funding for the role for more than 12 months and he wasn't willing to commit for just one year. He wanted a long term role.

The funding was under indigenous funding and they would only fund it 12 months at a time.

Remember when we were going to become like Souths and embrace an indigenous Australian pathway etc.? That lasted all of 5 minutes 😂

@nick_hayzee

obviously the prime minister didn’t go to Garry as to whether to pick Alex or not 🤔

Yep, Turuva was especially good.

Funny enough, I ran into his Mum at a pub in Parra last night and she was the one that told me he made the PM's 13.

I cant wait to get Luai here. He is everything we need. So impressed with the way he was driving his teammates. Perfect for us.

TBH I was unimpressed with Turuva and Hunt.

Turuva has speed and strength. His hands maybe not as silky as some centres around but he is an upgrade to everyone we have. Hunt is critical to the Sharks attack, his fast play the balls give them the front foot to play off later in the half. We have enough of the tackle machine middles.
