If your a CEO that has no responsibility for the football department- why does it matter if the CEO foes on leave during the football season?
😁
It’s called Leadership and leading by example. If I expected my employees to be on duty I most certainly would be as well. That’s how you build a good culture by setting a good example.
Correct. Where the hell is the board in all this? The Chairman? Bloody hopeless the lot of them.
Agree - but in times like these you need clear messages from the leadership - either Director, CEO or both.
We don't want to hear different messages coming from each board member - that's when things get messy.
But at the moment both Lee and Justin are so quiet. Sheens has been doing some talking - but we need him working within the club - not spending all his time managing PR
Hasn't it been made clear people don't want to hear from Pascoe and Lee?
In a situation like this, you need to hear from the leadership of the club either CEO or Chairman. Can't just let the team and madge sit their on their own.
In most organisations the CEO or director are the spokespeople of the organistsation. Usually all major external comes need to go through these 2 roles. It's a key part of each role.
If people don't want to hear from them, not because of their role, but because they havent preformed well in the media in the past. That's a kind of an issue, given their role.

There is not one football club where that is the case.

Our leader and CEO Pascoe is on holidays in the NT during the competition season. Seriously this is just ridiculous. I just can’t believe this is allowed to happen. Pascoe must go.
Might become croc food ....

What do you mean - then who speaks for the club? The ball boy?
Just a couple of quick recent examples of the top club ceo/chairman's defending their clubs:
Penrith Panthers CEO Brian Fletcher has doubled down on his calls for the NRL to provide compensation for clubs who lose development players to rival teams.
Melbourne Storm CEO Justin Rodski engaged in a heated argument with a veteran rugby league journalist who described the club’s handling of a star trio’s recent drug incident as being ‘a farce’.
Parramatta chairman Steve Sharp has fired back at Manly director Peter Peters, who questioned why star Sea Eagle Kieran Foran signed with the Eels.
Solly said that the Reynolds saga had been the 'most difficult thing I've been involved in in my five years at the club' - but that the negotiations had not turned sour.

The coach is the primary mouth piece of any club. I don't see packed press conferences a couple of times a week for any ceo
