I realise there’s another forum for NRLW but thought I’d post this here as many of us, me included, tend not to go past this forum too often.
I’ve been really enjoying the women’s game this year. Love getting to know the players from each team. Favourites of mine are Kennedy Cherrington, Shannon Mato, Caitlin Johnston, Simaima Taufa, Jesse Southwell (a gun), Sarah Togatuki etc. Really too many to name. But I wondered who might be the Tigers 2 marquee signings for next year. Would assume Bo Vette-Welsh would be one but who would be the other. I’d like to see Jess Sergis myself, she’s class. But wonder who other people think they’d like to see in our team for next year?
Hopefully we can resign the likes of Christian Pio, Najvada George & Tayla Preston who were pivotal to our success in the Harvey Norman team and who have all been terrific for the Eels in the NRLW. Would like to see us have a go for Emma Manzelmann who looks really promising for the Knights.
Rima Butler who I believe is from the Campbelltown area is a big, tough prop who comes off the bench for the Eels would be handy too.
Doubt the Knights are going to be able to keep Upton, Boyle & Southwell as can only have 2 marquee players & Southwell will surely be on marquee contract next year. So would love to see Boyle at the Tigers next season or Sergis.
Dragons will also find it difficult to keep both Apps & Albert as well as Tonegato. If Tigers want a prop & can’t land Boyle could do a lot worse than either of Apps & Albert.
