I’ve been saying it for a while , if there isn’t a ref or 5 caught up in a match fixing scandal within the next 10 years then I’m not sitting here .
As a rule they can’t all be this bad .
That pass was beyond laughable .It’s either corruption at the individual level or a directive from the nrl . No one can be this bad their job .
And for teams at the bottom it has been endless.
coincidentally all are Sydney teams getting these horrendous calls ….The forward pass call was a bad one but Brooks could have easily been called offside for his try if they really wanted to keep us out of it.

Officiating is frustrating because we need every 50/50 to go our way to be in a game.

Disappointing to get so close and not win, but there was actually a fair bit to like today. We stuck at it and toughed that game out. There were times when Raiders really looked way better than us and we fought and stuck at it. Brooks and Api great games and our forwards did the hard yards. Our 2 - 5 added nothing today and havent all year.
Predictably made some stupid mistakes. Frustrates me on the few times we make a line break that we always panic and seem to think we HAVE to score that play on a miracle. Take the damn tackle and set up.

Brooks did a lot of good things out there, but as ever he is a really poor organising half. We continue to get any sort of structure on our end of sets in particular. Brooks himself getting tackled on the 5th, or passing to the edges to put in a grubber and hoping for the best. It's all very ad hoc and we won't be remotely competitive until we sort that out.
Api is carrying this entire team on his back. Plays massive minutes in the middle tackling everything, effort after effort in scramble defence, kicks goals, kicks for touch and for tries, is the linchpin of our only structure play in attack. Just an incredible player. Top echelon of tigers players already based upon effort for the reward he gets. I love him

when he was young that’s how he played and it was coached out of him. He will do very well with DCE running the show at Manly
