I believe he has the potential to be a top 4 prop in the NRL, we have seen it is short bursts however he is lacking that consistency and mongrel. He was not ready for origin last year and Freddy didn't do him any favors bringing him in, talking him up and then playing him for a very short stint. Madge knows he probably needs a kick in the bum and excluding him from the origin squad is a reflection on his performances and not the Tigers. I was happy when he stood up to JWH last year and that happened after he was dropped from game 3 so hopefully we see more of the same this season. Another sad indictment on the previous management agreeing to an origin clause in a players contract...just dumb.Stef has to step up .. he has a long way to go … been very unimpressed with his performances last season . I would not be that fussed if he decided to move on .
I hope he’s a lot better than what we got last year.
Needs to fire up a bit!

Stef would do being in a rotation with another aggressive prop. Too often he doesn’t make use of his size and power and there is little in our current squad to challenge him for the impact prop role. He needs to step up or he is destined to be a player who will probably do well at an established club but fails to lead at a weak club like us
