Never seen Dillon play as far as I know , and if I did he didn't stand out in my eyes

Like I still remember seeing Tedesco for example and I knew he was going to be a star even at NYC level ....@Willow and I were calling for his selection in the NRL side Rd 1 of 2011 and a lot of people thought it was ludicrous at the time

Some kids you can just tell mate, Robbie, Lawrance and Benji were all the same.

I didn't get to see much of Rowdy , Benj or Faf in juniors ...one of the downsides to living in the Greatest State of all

I watched Robbie and Chris all the way through the juniors and saw Benji in his schoolboy comp games on TV. That same year Benji was playing first grade lol.

Not a fan of Keebra Park ...they knocked us out in the semis of Commonwealth Bank Cup

I don't like Eaglevale for the exact same reason.

Our side were missing 4-5 players because of either measles or mumps from memory and they only just beat us in the end 4 points ffom memory...we were the Cinderella story ..we actually had to play a qualifier for the main draw ....

I went to a country school, so making the semis of the Com Cup was a huge effort, I was 15 and playing off the bench and Eaglevale were just too big for us. We had never really come up against anything like that before.

It was Keebra's 2nd year of their football program and they had the majority of the side that played for Brisbane South region who also won the state titles and the majority of the forwards that helped us beat NSW for the 1st time in Open schoolboy ...I think from memory of the that played for their regional pack they had Tony Hearn , Allan Cann , Michael Searle ....and the rep side had Gee and Brett Horsnell but they weren't from Keebra Gee was from Beaudesert or Beenleigh ..the only bloke from outside the Gold Coast was Dean Schifiliti from either Ingham or Innisfail ...lucky year to get selected for me ...having an entire forward pack that either played NRL ,SOO or Australia helped ..back then Qld were at least a year younger than the NSW blokes

Were you playing fullback back then?

In memory of Geoff Chisholm (1965-2022)

Bumping this up, no one has Starford in first grade calculations in 2025 that I’ve seen.

At times I’ve thought there might be something he can offer at NRL level (obviously the 2023 game against Cowboys).

Hopefully he either contributes or develops some trade value as he’s looking as much a liability as Sullivan and Naden in the roster.

I think Peachey has to play 13.

I'd prefer him to play 13 but we are just so light in the centres, I think Peachey has to play in the centres until AD returns.

Won’t Gildart and Kepaoa be in the centres?

Scrap that, just saw the Kepaoa I just news which is a shame. Even so, I’d rather Toa or Roberts there. Peachey is too valuable at 13 to not play him there.

Issue is, Gildart is an unknown so we literally have nothing at centre at this point in time. I want Peachey at 13, I just don't think we have that luxury unless these young guys jump out of their skin in the trials. I really hope Roberts can find some old form but I am very worried about his defense.

That’s true but we don’t have anyone suitable to play lock outside of Peachey. The game has changed, we can’t put Twal there.

Chuck Gildart and Roberts/Toa in the centres and leave Peachey at 13 imo.

That is horrible, I'd be playing Seyfarth there.

wow Garry
