Methinks we may have seen another master-stroke from Richo locking in douehi for next yr on a low contract value....if he had waited till after this game I'm sure the price would have gone up and he would have a few clubs sniffing around.

Watching the game today, I had the thought that i am happy we have Seyfarth on a stupid long contract, presumably on reasonable money.

We fielded 10 pathways players today. It’s happening.

Anyone still unsure about the Doueihi resigning? That’s an incredible return game today by any measure.

Im not an AD fan, but couldnt agree more. In one game he has shown his commitment (his training must have been incredible to hit the ground running like he did today). In one game he has shown he is a centre. In one game he has reinforced he is NOT a half. He butchered a try and stifled attack the couple times he ran across field. And unfortunately he has also shown he still has a lot of work to do on his defence, but that can be excused in his first NRL game back.

Im extremely happy for him today.

@frullens my only changes would be Klemmer back in for someone but I’m not sure who you tap on the shoulder plus Doueihi replaces Naden and Olam back in.

we have a very exciting young bunch of players who are keen and confident! What a conundrum to have!

- Twal? - Probably takes kit Laulili spot.

- Klemmer? - yes...pushes Pole to the bench, takes Kits spot or Mason drops off (Douiehi can cover utility role if needed)

- Olam? - yes..pushes Douiehi to right centre, Naden out of the squad.

- Staines? - No

- Toa? -No

- Bateman? _ either Bateman or Ice replaces Porter, Batemans defence is underrated IMO.

- Ice? - either Bateman or Ice replaces Porter, IMO we scored an extra last week with Ice in the squad.

- Tupou? - Probably better than Faataape but do we bother with him leaving?

- Bud? - no

- Latu? -  no but would love to get him in there, maybe takes Masons spot.

- TDS? - probably not but maybe takes Masons spot.

Olam has to walk back in for sure for Solomon or Brent. And maybe Klem to start with Pole pushing out Porter but this upsets the balance of the team as Pole does his best work as part of the front row rotation.  Good question.

I think Sione Fainu adds far more to the team than Twal. Better footwork, better passing game. I’d be keeping him in the 17.

Olam for Naden

Bateman for Porter.

Tupou for Faatape.

Klemmer for Kit

The conundrum is matamua. If he has nailed down the lock position, it leaves ice and Bateman to battle out 2nd row as no one is touching samuela.

The youngsters have definitely been amazing over the past few weeks but let’s not burn them out. Give them a taste until the seniors get back, then bump them back down to nsw cup. Except Galvin. Leave him next to sezer and let him learn there.

Matamua has to stay at 13 imo. It’s no coincidence our attack has looked better since he came into the team.

What happened to him tonight? He only played 30mins, 2 runs, 15m only 5 passes, 25 tackles.
