Prior to signing I was fairly against the Luai signing but i've definitely come around. Pretty rare for us as a club to sign an origin half at his peak on a long term deal. I don't think the price was really overs either when compared to what some other players are earning and the increase in salary cap in coming years. Our spine for 2025 is top shelf.
Struggling to understand Olam but we are so hopelessly light on outside backs I do understand the interest.
Agree Avo. Compared to what we were paying Brooks by the end of his back loaded deal its hardly a blip.Prior to signing I was fairly against the Luai signing but i've definitely come around. Yep. And better value for money. Brooks realistically is a $500-$600k player we were paying $1m+ to. Luai is a $1m player at the very least.
Would Parramatta have a look at Nofoaluma (on a contract part subsidised by WT) now they have let Waqa Blake go?

Would be worth exploring for sure.

That would be perfect in so many ways

Id love it to happen but I can’t see any team being interested in him. I reckon his time in the NRL is over.
@avocadoontoast It’s imperative that the club moves this guy on no matter at what cost… the bad attitude and freeing up a spot would be a major win moving to the start of the season .He probably has value at this stage but when playing full time Reggie’s not so much.
Scott Fulton sacked
Oh wow....bold move Richo and from the outside I can see why. Hope it doesnt disturb the applecart too much for the Tartak players.
That didn’t last long, wonder who Richo got in mind.
No surprises there. Appointment by Pascoe and Lee without any consultation with the football department. Only a matter of time and a good move.
Scott probably white anting behind the scenes. Would butt heads with Richo for sure.

I think his card was marked as soon as the regime change was confirmed.

Agree. It's likely an indicator that the new Board and CEO are fully behind Benji. No surprises there. Appointment by Pascoe and Lee without any consultation with the football department. Only a matter of time and a good move.
