@declan I know mate I do it to myself every off-season, still think next season will be tough for us diehards but we’re heading in a good direction

@beachtiger we’ve not had an off-season like this in … we’ll never that I can recall . Usually we get linked and end up standing there with our hands out . This is truely strange . It feels surreal .

@spartan117 welcome and good point about selective recruitment. Looks like Sheens has taken a look over the 2021 team and seen the weaknesses (centre, prop, second row and hooker?) and got to work.

Just read the article about this. Apparently the football manager offered us Smith. Then said we could have him if they can have Stef in return.
Now I'm going to be honest I kind of admire the audacity in offering that deal. They want rid, Smith made some unflattering comments on a pod about the storm. But still they look for a deal that probably won't make them any worse off. May even strenghten them

Hi guys, well done on the forum. What’s great is that recruits like Api and Pappali will make it much easier to bring the next 2 or 3 recruits because players will know they don’t have to carry the team all by themselves. This is the type of moment that we could actually get a Latrell or similar. When they know they will be there final piece. If we can make the 8 next year (a couple of strong signings for 2022 like Thompson/Cotric) and we may just be able to exit the cellar.
BTW how terrible have Parra managed their roster. So good to see
