Played fullback and centre coming through the lower grades. The fact we are still looking at wingers suggests to me that we bought Turuva to play centre.

Im one of the ones throwing him in the centres and I have to be honest i dont know the answer to that question. Ive thrown him in there on need, hope and desperation. A quick check tells me that he has played 9 games in centre, 6 in Reggies, 1 in a trial, 1 in World Club Challenge and 1 for Fiji. 3 tries and only lost 2 of those games so who knows?
Some of the reporting around the time he signed suggested he had been signed with a view to play centre.

He was under contract for another 2 years, the only reason it would makes sense to release him would be if Galvin has extended.

Of all the juniors coming through I think letting Large go is one that will come back and bite us. BadlyOnitoni Large has signed with Manly.

I can’t imagine any other club releasing someone who looks that promising when under contract. It’s just so stupid. We are such a stupid club.
