Apparently Benji has hinted at a possible Lock signing. The player “not getting enough minutes” at current club.

Where did you hear hom hint that?

Jack Williams comes to mind

would also like to know. Haven’t seen an interview anywhere?

He’s on the bench for the past placed NSW Cup side…what a pity.

It’s good to have forum back.

 On Facebook a rumour that we have signed Tristan Hope from Brisbane Tigers to a cup contract for next year, I hope he brings Ronald Philitoga with him if true.

Philitoga is a good player. He runs for almost 200 metres in cup most weeks

I hope we at least have Conversation with him, he’s what we have been looking for. I have seen him play live and he’s good, way better than Lobb and co.

And so puzzling... would love to know behind the scenes. If there was ever a question time again, that's what I'd ask.

@tigertragic56 tallis duncan, ryan matterson come to mind as well (but im not commenting on whether they are good options or not)

I rate Horsbrough as a player but I dont think we need a hot head like him at our club. We need experienced mild mannered blokes who can change cultures -  the equivalent of Dale Finucane / Cam Mcinness at Cronulla.

Clean skins who can lead young players is what we need.

Thoughts on Wiremu Gregg.

Parramatta are shopping him, contracted until 2026.

this fits within maybe $1.5m. Would leave plenty of room to upgrade Galvin etc

all potentially add value, however, will be rubbish if the only reason they are coming is for the $$ or a chance to play first grade. If they buy in to what we are looking to build and achieve than lets go. I have interviewed and hired many people in my career and the most skilled and experienced are not always the ones that get the gig, nor are they the ones that become superstars. That's why we can argue over who should and shouldn't get a contract, however the reality is we dont want another player joining because we have an opening or because they want an upgrade. I know we may not be in a position to be too picky however you are better off burning the money than bringing these types of players into the team. I'm not a fan of Liam Knight, however maybe he has a chip on his shoulder and wants to prove that he still has what it takes. So this all comes down to Richo and Benji and what they see in a player.

@lorenzo absolutely agree

Always employ the best character/team fit vs the best CV or slickest presenter
