Any idea who the author is? Or how to make contact with them?

For all those saying that a new coach is unlikely to get immediate improvement on field, we should remember Seibold took essentially the same team from 12th to 3rd..

That’s my point. Seibold is hopeless but even he was able to get that team to 3rd…

I agree, but it’s a damning indictment on Madge. If we get a half decent coach on board, I’m expecting immediate improvement.

Well, it’s certainly all quiet on the Western (Wests) front.

Well, it’s certainly all quiet on the Western (Wests) front.

I seem to recall Sheens saying there are important meetings scheduled for this Friday but cant find where i read that.

I worry about the board leaking info to Michael Chammas. This article is someone at board level basically unloading to him back in April

https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/inside-the-wests-tigers-review-the-6-key-takeouts-that-have-changed-maguire-20220421-p5af1u.html

Chammas has probably gone back to the same source for his article this week

https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/there-ll-have-to-be-some-recommendations-wests-tigers-to-undertake-mid-season-review-20220529-p5apdg.html

Those on the board who want Madge out will point to the 10-point expectation which is referenced in the second article.

Those defending him will use injuries.

I read between the lines at Sheens comments and I think he is leaning towards recommending that Madge stay however he has to infer that serious calls need to be made to placate those on the board who want Madge out?

in 24 hours I guess we will see?

If Sheens says Maguire should stay, but board go the other way, is Sheens role redundant too?

Absolutely, his appointment means nothing then and he’ll be the next to go.

And about 8 half decent players as well
