hope Garner plays limited minutes maybe replace LL keep them both fresh

LL needs at least 20 mins off the field.

It worries me that Papenhuyzen is playing for the Storm. Thought he might be out. Could be the difference between the teams.

I wholeheartedly agree.Play him in this fashion all the time.Concentrate his impact by reducing his minutes, otherwise he  can become a little ragged under fatigue.

I think the one thing that scares me are our centres. Melbourne’s two are hard running bustling pair in the wet or dry. Just wondering depending on the conditions whether to play Peachy or maybe even Garner in the centres??

Garner doesn't have the lateral movement in the centres and Peachey will be needed at hooker.

Speaking of Luke Garner, interesting to note he hasn’t trialled but gets the nod in front of a couple of others. He has his detractors but must be training well so hope he can produce some of those nice lines as he will have a couple of extra ball players to run off.Was playing well when he got the injury last year.

This has got to be Garner’s year. He has some good attributes but just seems to struggle pushing through to next level.

I thought Garner had his best games last year when coming off the bench and running good lines against tired and more open defence.

Hopefully finds a spot play 30mins off the bench and giving big Luc a breather

Top 8 2023

Yep agree, and important to determine the optimum ratio of minutes for maximum benefit. Most important this year to maintain high pressure from bench for the full 80 without our usual lulls.

Bromwich out with Covid ....

If he gives it to another 10 teammates we're going to be in this with a fighting chance!

Thanks Steve, was under the impression there had to be 2 revised announcements given the sheet originally names 24 players. There was no official 1st revision by this morning. What is the official rule there?

Players 22-24 are covid subs so stay on the list, the 21 just got cut to 19. Our side is still 1-19
