Jordan Miller

I know tigers sacked him but it can’t just be for being late to training 2 times

I thought he was a budding prospect and was gonna be a future star ??

I hate to hype up a junior, however I’ve got to say I’m a bit excited about Makasini and what he may bring.

Also looking forward to some potential growth from Matamua and the Laulilii brothers.

I wouldn't expect to see him in first grade until 2026.

Need to see some development fast in Matamua, this is a critical season for him IMO. I saw enough in Luke L last year to be a little excited about him. he looked fit at the members training but he is very short. I think Skelton will be one winger and it will be interesting to see who gets the other one. personally Id go Luke.

I would have said the same about Galvin but Benji threw him in. If Toa/Turuva/whoever else doesnt cement the position and Benji thinks he is ready, I could see it happening. Big kid, physically close to being ready. Will be interesting to watch him in lower grades.

Difference is we will be 3/4 through the season and unless we have injuries the only reason I see him getting picked is if we are struggling.

Well you have Toa, Olam and Doueihi all coming off injury ruined seasons. Naden is out of favour and Feledy might not be called upon.

I’m backing him in.

He can't play until August though.

That's why I think he will only play if we are struggling, if we are winning I doubt we debut an 18 year old in August. The only way I think he will debut this year is injuries late in the year or if we are struggling.

Whether or not Heamasi debuts 2025 we won’t see the best of him until 2026. And he will start 2026. I think I recall reading somewhere he is still attending school 2025, finishing HSC so not sure how that affects his footy next year at the club. But I’m certain he’ll be a starter in 2026 no matter what happens.

Do you have him in the starting side from round 1 2026?

Obviously there is no answer to that question until he plays a few games, but based on the money we are paying him at 17yo, I would like to think so.
