I just had a look at the draw for the Matts semi final this week. Wests v Sharks at Leichhardt 7:30 pm Friday. Think it’d be great to see as many fans as can make it get out there and support the boys. They’re a very good team coming up against a Sharks outfit who will have plenty of confidence after their win against the chooks.
Sorry, looks like I somehow got the draw wrong. The Matts semi is at Leichhardt at 11am. So those of you not able to get to Bathurst to watch the NRL Tigers upset the Panthers will be able to watch two of our pathways teams go for spots in the GF. The Lisa Fiola Tigers playing the Steelers after the Matts game. Great weather predicted so if you can get out there and get those teams home. Hopefully we can have 2 teams in their respective GFs come Saturday arvo. Top that off with an incredible win at Bathurst and life is good again.I just had a look at the draw for the Matts semi final this week. Wests v Sharks at Leichhardt 7:30 pm Friday. The other Large brother (Onitoni) is a talent as well. He's out injured at the moment.
In other news, the boys won today so will play the warriors in the final next week.
Always difficult to say but Taupau-Moors has been great up front. French off the bench also good. Godinet is good on the edge, Isdale a very nippy half, Goodfield on the wing. And Lele who came in for the injured Onitoni a month or so ago has done really well. All guys to watch as they progress.other than Makasini and Large, anyone know if there are any likely future NRL players in this squad?

There’s also Riley Oittman, a fullback from the Laurie Daley team who is one to watch, was injured after rd 3 I think. But a few from Flegg too, Sol Saukuru (centre), Zak Clarke (2nd row) who I think may have been linked with the Storm but not sure, Bailey Hodges (hooker or lock) are just 3. I have seen very little of Balmain rep sides so there might be a few there too.Always difficult to say but Taupau-Moors has been great up front. French off the bench also good. Possibly but haven’t heard anything. I think he might’ve been in the Panthers system & we got him back over to ours but that’s all I’ve heard.Any relation to the Moops that use to play with us??Always difficult to say but Taupau-Moors has been great up front. Ashton Large, 16 year old brother of Onitoni, is a terrific 9. He’ll be one to watch. I thought it was he who you were referring to but if it wasn’t I decided to add this reply. Outside of Makasini it’s Ashton who I think has the best future but plenty of others can progress.other than Makasini and Large, anyone know if there are any likely future NRL players in this squad?
