I would assume that Madden will be seeking a release pretty soon after this, I wouldn't be surprised if the Knights are actually looking at him and not Brooks.

More proof that some players are held accountable for bad performances and some aren't.

Nicolussi reporting that Pascoe currently on holidays (confirmed by club). Great leadership.

Might be why the madge has 2 weeks to turn it around. JP is in bali for the next 2 weeks.

there is a school of thought that running the side might bring the best out in Brooks".

Hahahahahaha… the best of Brooks will be elsewhere and not at the Wests Tigers.

Yep. I just added that because it was just another hopeful comment I read that was more clutching at straws than holding substance. And you're right, we've seen the best he can do for us and it's not helping. With a better team around him he will be better of course, good luck to him.

I watched him pretty closely on the weekend, played a couple of 20min stints for the Jets. He's obviously a big unit and a real handful but he wont transform us on his own. He be a really good signing of course but we'll need to understand that he's just another piece of the puzzle.

Agree. Brooks needs a change. He is actually holding the Wests Tigers back now. We won’t progress until Brooks is no longer here.

Depending on who you ask it's Madge, Brooks, Pascoe, the Board, Benji, Cleary, Hartigan, old boys club, etc

To me to have blame across the board shows that the issue is systemic.

In that case you need to look at those responsible for the system - CEO and Board - they are the only ones in a position to fully fix the club as a whole. If they aren't up to it, they need to be replaced.

If they are already on the path to fix it (Sheens, pathways, etc) then the board and CEO need to do a much better job in outlining the story and the vision.

If they can tell the story of where we are at and how we are getting out of it - it takes the pressure off everyone and includes fans in the journey, instead of all.of us turning on the club and each other trying to find answers

Top 8 2023

That is exactly what I said on the pod on Sunday.
