Lee must have passed on some skills during their coffee chat
If anyone wants to record an audio comment for the pod tomorrow, we will accept those as well. PM me for details.

Yeah but Steve will give you 6 words when you've asked for one and Lee will give you a million when you've asked for none
Hey guys, new here.
Felt obliged to join, such is my disillusionment with the rut were in. Long time Season Ticket Holder to all our grounds, didnt attend Thursday and wont again, until i see some form of change or betterment. After reading through your posts the past few days, im convinced nobody in a position of power at WT loves this Club as much as anyone on this forum does.
I hope whatever traction we can gain here becomes a catalyst for change. I used to count the hours til Match Day, I now dread it.
Reading your posts has made me realise we all deserve better.
welcome to the forum. I think you will fit in well
Hey guys,
We are going to open up the pod tomorrow night for fans to have their say about our current position, if you are interested in coming on send me a PM.
If the club has any nous it would monitoring this thread and the upcoming pod in particular to gauge the sentiment and temperature of the fan base.
I hope not. I want the board to make good sensible sound decisions based on logic an business and football experience and not listening to fans, no matter what I want
We might need a second petition
NRL 2023: Ex-NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet backed for Wests Tigers job, Phil Rothfield | What’s the Buzz
The Wests Tigers needs new people on the board with fresh ideas, and former NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet could be the perfect fit, writes PHIL ROTHFIELD.
Former NSW premier Dominic Perrottet is a hopeless Wests Tigers’ tragic.
He lost the state election in March and has since had more time for family and footy.
In the next six months there is talk the ex-premier will quit politics for a career in banking, media, law … or possibly even rugby league.
His beloved Wests Tigers are staring down a second consecutive wooden spoon.
The club that hasn’t played finals football for 12 years.
You can blame Tim Sheens, Benji Marshall, previous coaches, recruitment, Lee Hagipantelis or Justin Pascoe … it doesn’t matter.
This club needs new people on board with fresh ideas.
Perrottet is the perfect fit. As a director or as chairman.
A mad Tigers fan, Dominic Perrottet could emerge as a surprise saviour for Wests. Picture: Mark Evans.
The ex-premier is apparently in a world of pain like all other long-suffering Wests Tigers fans over the team’s constant failures.
In April this year the Wests Tigers made an important board room change.
Their best director, Simon Cook, stepped aside for John Dorahy.
As he departed Cook said: “I believe that Wests Tigers needs change and regeneration.
“It is time for Wests Tigers to look to new people with the right skill set who can provide the club with the success our loyal fans deserve.”
This was a telling statement.
I’m told Perrottet, if approached, would be keen to get involved once he steps out of politics, most likely by Xmas.
The club needs his expertise as much as they need a halfback and chief playmaker.

It’s interesting in that another former Liberal Premier, Barry O’Farrell, was Wests Tigers chair in 2019.
He lasted only six months.
Perrottet, however, would be in it for the long haul.

I’m not a liberal voter but we would be would be mad not to invite the former premier to be a board member
@garry G’awd no… Did nothing for us while he was Premier. It would be all about him as Chair.

good move if we can make it happen
Thanks, I know some forums can be full of ranters and ravers. People here seem measured (and knowledgeable) which helps.

IMO it would be a big mistake. I actually know Dom in a small way and he is a really good bloke and good politician and does a good job for his electorate. What the club needs is someone with good business and/or football experience and thats not Dom.

I think at Board level it would work quite well. His role would be more around governance which we are horrible at. In the ceo role absolutely need someone with a strong sports administration background.

As a board member I would be fine with it, gives someone on the board that is able to negotiate with government. As chair or ceo it would be a no from me.
