I listened to the podcast with Richo while on my regular morning walk in Sharks territory and just as Richo mentioned people who support other clubs also want Tigers to do well (I was earing my members cap as always) a random fella walked past me and said, Hope you have a better year" . It actually happens quite a bit. Even got some encouragement for the season from Gavin Miller once. He always has his Sharks cap on.

Show your stripes!!!!

The answer is Stadium Australia and lobby the government for changes to a more rectangular structure with a roof.

if we go to stadium Australia (never a chance until richo came along) then every junior tigers player (9000) should get free admission with a free adult to accompany them. I’ve never really understood the economics of these big stadiums ie is is better to have more people if not paying just to boost sales of food and beverage?

And if we do stadium Australia we have to cancel all games at LO and CSS. No heritage games to allow people to keep to their historical enclaves. One home ground.

@tigertownsfs Memberships  low as this highlights that historical enclaves are not a real issue to many supporters ..you can pack a picnic lunch and go to Leichhardt any day of the week it’s a park oval now and take in as much tradition as you like ! One of the three stadiums the choice is there .

@mike Accor will be renovated at some stage  rectangle and roof might be a while , should of been the priority other than Penrith but that’s politics.

Echoing other comments, Richardson needs to drive the club towards unity. I’m sorry but this has to start with deleting the Magpie off the sleeve.

We should have slightly larger WS Magpies and Balmain Tigers logos on the neck and that’s it.

The magpie also confuses the branding/image of the club and looks really amateurish/semi-professional.

Pascoe mentioned in the graham pod that he didn’t agree with calling the NSW cup team the magpies. If the CEO can’t drive key decisions like what the team is called then it indicates how poorly governance in the club was executed. The NSW cup team should play as much as possible before the NRL team for home games and when not possible should play out of the designated heritage home grounds (LO/CSS). What value they thought would be achieved by playing out of Lidcome was absurd.

I think the most promising thing that Richo mentioned on the pod was the way they're going about selecting the new directors. Actually going through a proper process and choosing them on merit, rather than just mates of mates. Incredible to think that our club is now, finally, operating on a competent level, similar to it's peers.

Feels like adults are in charge.

i wonder if Coates is one of the board members. He was at the season launch. Doesn’t want to be chairman but would be an incredible pickup as an independent board member

As a longtime supporter of Pascoe, Im not happy that the membership numbers were a work of fiction.7,000 is a long way from 20,000. The supposed strong financial position was all smoke and mirrors. Very very disappointed in the old Board and the previous Executive Management. They took me for a ride and I suspect many others.

He is a foundation 13 member, they get invited to all the events.

But you imagine that all current members would simply roll membership over to SA? I for one wouldnt for sure. Might go to an odd game but definitely not all and definitely not membership, would probably get the non ticketed membership but the club would be short about $1K from me.
