UPDATE
Wests Ashfield board have discussed our petition stating the need for an independent review and some progress has been made with the idea being received positively. Not much else to report at this stage. They will report back to us again, possibly next week.
Thanks Steve!
Well done to you and the WTP team, for rhe way you've managed dthis petition.
Let's hope now WA take this seriously. And don't let is slip away with the end of the season.
Worth reminding them that 2,100 members @$250 or each represents at least $525-550k

Its very validating that they’ve seriously considered it. Credit where it is due. Let’s see where things go from here.
Wests Tigers Podcast - Talking everything Wests Tigers!
I guess would make sense until post season to announce a review
Senior figures at the Wests Tigers are pushing for a leading administrator in the world of Supercar racing to take over as the embattled club's chief executive.
Current CEO Justin Pascoe is under siege, with fans demanding change and the club board feeling the pressure to act after years of internal strife at the club.
Tim Watsford is a highly respected sports administrator, currently holding down the post of Chief Innovation and Sustainability Officer with Supercars.
But prior to that, he worked at the National Rugby League, Australian Rugby Union and the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust and left a good impression at each.
Only last weekend at the Tigers' final game of another disastrous season, fans staged a protest against Pascoe at Brookvale.

This is great. Wonder who the senior figures are.

Probably the same ones responsible for the internal strife.
Pascoe might yet be the scapegoat.

My ongoing concern is, and has been for some time, that Pascoe is not the major problem. I think the problem is primarily higher than him. He will indeed be the scapegoat but this may not solve our problems.

As much as I hate the board I think Pascoe is as much of a problem. He's just not a shrewd operator with little to no knowledge of what building a successful rugby league club looks like. This wouldn't be a major issue if he appointed people that do understand rugby league, but his role over the years has become more blurred, dipping his toe into things that are beyond his expertise and hiring/firing people that know a lot more than he does. He disappears when things are going bad and pops his head back up when we have a win. Weak leaders create hard times and he is a very weak leader.
And as for the gushing over him being a great financial operator, he paid Madge out almost $800k (according to reports), he's paying out Sheens, he paid out Taylor. Not what i'd call prudent financial management. Can't wait for him to be gone.

I've got every confidence that a Pascoe replacement would do a better job. After 9 years of failure the only way is up!
@avocadoontoast don’t get me wrong. He is a huge part of the problem but the most efficient CEO on the planet still takes direction from those above him/her.
Also, credit where it’s due - financially we are in a good place

i would actually like a bit of forensics into that claim as well. We have all heard this repeated over and over but would like to know the actual details.
