330k people admit being tigers fans after 15 years of absolute garbage from the club. Can you imagine what happens when we are a regular top 8 club?
Hope all 331000 don't all turn up LO on a sunny Sunday afternoon, have to turn away 315000.
We going to need a bigger boat. (to quote a famous movie)
@joel This is fact but the reality is the owners want no part of it or should I say as small a part as possible . Unfortunately for the Weststigers to ascend to that status the owners need to financially back the club with the capital to contend with the larger clubs in Sydney . It’s not hard to see with what’s transpired over the years that HBG only want ownership of the club for the prestige it holds for themselves to be lavished over at bare minimum expense and of course the other agenda that plays out at Lidcombe oval. The only way the Weststigers are going to become what we all know it can be is to be sold to owners that will demand success and provide to required funds to achieve this . Unfortunately while the caviar and champagne flow and the hero worship at Lidcombe oval every other weekend continues for minimal expense that’s a mountain to hard to climb!
This is 100% the thing that is holding us back from being the powerhouse we could be. The issue that the Tigers have is financing a successful RL enterprise outside the playing group. Our coaching staff, assistant staff and facilities (outside of the CoE) is lagging badly outside the top clubs. Fans bitch and moan about the 2005 "boys club" as assistants at the club. IMO, based on first hand knowledge of assistant coaches at other clubs, the reason we have the 2005 boys club is that these guys are prepared to be involved for less money than others.
Our club cant afford the best guys.

If all of them became members we could build our own stadium at Leichhardt
Almost everyone I know that has no interest or passion for the game go for either the roosters, Souths or the bulldogs...in that order. I would say these teams have the most "part time" supporters. Whereas our 330k would mainly be rusted on supporters as I doubt any casual observers would jump on a wooden spoon dynasty.

lol hopefully our days of worrying about HBG board politics are over
Off seasons are the most exciting times for a Tiger supporter… The HBG are the board that keeps on giving . By my accounts there is one left good old Danny boy .Beheaded board members everywhere what a blood bath in that board room! But one survives …the club is ripe for the picking IMO if only someone with deep pockets can come along .

Now would be an incredible time to sell the club. My guess is HBG would get $50m.
Never a dull moment at the Tigers. Not even a week after the GF and already back in the headlines. The media know to just camp outside Wests Tigers HQ for a story during the off season.
You get the feeling the Tigers will never reach their potential as a football club whilst owned by the Holman Barnes Group. There might be some success at some point but I doubt we’ll see the football club reach any great heights. I might be wrong, the owners might be the best thing to ever happen to Wests Tigers. They might be the most business savvy organisation that ever owned a football club but I doubt it.
The storm are owned by Matt Tripp and other business interests. We are owned by people who paid $50 to become a debenture holder
The HBG are a millstone around our necks.
What makes it worse is the old Wests brigade clowns who think the sun shines out their backsides.
