How the hell did this happen

Bloody hell .....sounds like all the ACL's are going out in sympathy

Unusual question .....any chance where we train is causing issues ...I know WHU changed it training ground after continual soft tissue injuries to players a few years ago

That was my thought as well. What are we doing at training that would cause an ACL injury?

I was thinking more the surface we are training on ..they are getting minor tears at training and then at full speed something has to give Surface might be too hard and not too much grass or has too much give in the surface

Well they are training on a local oval temporarily. I wouldn’t think it would be all that great. I’ve only seen it driving past. Should be much better come April when the new COE and ground are ready.

Jeez, poor bugger. I had been looking forward to seeing how he went this year after a full pre-season. He looked in good knick too based on the training pics.

How much longer we got him for? Would hate to see us lose patience with him and let him go only for him to fulfil his potential elsewhere!

All the best to him with this recovery!!

Is that when they start picking yourself ,Geo and Garry as we have 20 players recovering from various major serious leg injuries

It’s been a couple of days, and still no official announcement or definitive statement on the status of Shawn’s injury.

Is there a faint glimmer of hope?

Has there been an official confirmation of the injury post scans?Wouldve thought there might have been something forthcoming from Tigers media.Or is that wishful thinking?

Nothing at this stage.

According to the Pom it’s an ACL and he’s gone for the year.

2022 just keeps on giving

The last few days have been tough, hopefully there’s something good waiting for us in coming weeks.

Id argue Blore is the player we could least afford to lose

- we have no depth in that edge back row position

- he and Stefano are the only players who can tuck the ball under their arm and carry players with them.

Youd have to think its likely we pull someone from another club now to cover this loss? I know that losing players to injury doesnt entitle us to cap relief but with Hoffman going we have a space available. Hoffman was on min wage you would assume so perhaps there is nothing left under the cap.

It's just a seriously awful blow. I was really looking forward to watching Blore this season with the highest of high hopes for him
