Weren’t we meant to hear about the stadium strategy by end of June? Unless they announce in the next hour it looks like it’s been delayed.
Yeah I was thinking about that as well.Weren’t we meant to hear about the stadium strategy by end of June? Unless they announce in the next hour it looks like it’s been delayed.

I actually think that is Richo’s first misstep. 3 home grounds was and is a terrible idea regardless of who the administration is.Official email just dropped

I think this is a mistake too. Commbank is a bad decision because it's not our home ground and never will be. We need all the help we can get, and having 4 games played at Parramatta's home ground to get more corporate dollars is putting $ ahead of wins. I don't like it at all. At least Accor, which is horrible, is not in Parramatta.I actually think that is Richo’s first misstep. 3 home grounds was and is a terrible idea regardless of who the administration is.Official email just dropped

😂😂😂 After 25yrs the club just can not move forward .. I thought Richardson would change things how wrong that was . He also did not mention playing the mini magic round at Alliance ( home match) for what I read he had agreed to it so one ground is going to lose a match . Not surprised by this actually no one at the place is a progressive thinker just love living in the past ! 5 home grounds next season how can this club be taken seriously!

To me it is actually a sign that Richo is a pragmatist and a genuinely good manager....hear me out.
The fact that this thread here and other earlier forums is so long, with no consensus and the fact that the issue has never been "resolved" earlier is proof that there are many different strongly held views and opinions. Mike you have clearly expressed your legitimate opinion here frequently as have others who agree or disagree with you. To a large extent these views havent really changed. Personally I LOVE LO and would hate to see us not play there, but I also can see that when we are a successful club we are not going to be able fit enough people in to have the ground practically viable as a full time home ground (or even 50/50 with CSS).
All of that is baked in the cake, however what none of us really know is the behind the scenes details. Exactly how many corporates can you get in and for how much $$$, how much does it cost to play at CommBank/Allianz/Accor/LO/CSS? How many members have a LO or CSS only membership? Which/how many sponsors are wedded to a ground.
I have never thought that the home ground decision was a black/white decision and I have never really understood or agreed with the principle that we are losing games because of 2 or 3 home grounds. When Richo became CEO, he made a LOT of noise about the home ground issue and IMO made it very clear that he was serious about moving away from at least LO and often made the point that he "had to make big decisions that are going to upset some people". As a LO fan I had seriously accepted the fact we would leave LO based on Richos words. Richo has the capital to make the tough decisions.
The fact that they have made this decision to me is clear that once they got in there, full of bravado about making the tough decisions and upsetting people, they have determined that this is the best option and in a lot of ways making the right decision is the tough choice.
In Richo we trust....
And another home game at Magic Round for the next 3 years. Diabolical

On what basis? What data are you using to make that judgement? How much does it cost to play at each of the grounds? How many corporates at each? How many LO/CSS only members do we have?
He lost a bit of trust from me today. Not only three home grounds but we continue to give away a home game to QLD. It was a terrible idea before and continues to be a terrible idea today. I expected much better. We are stuck in the past and this does nothing to move us forward.I actually think that is Richo’s first misstep. 3 home grounds was and is a terrible idea regardless of who the administration is.Official email just dropped

Geez, at the end of the day I could not give a shit where they play. Just bloody win games consistently or at least be competitive and I will fly to Vegas, Brisbane, or wherever they are playing home or away to get some enjoyment after 10+ years of misery! If richo has done the math and 3 home grounds is the best option to deliver success than I'm all for it. His threats to move away from grounds has delivered the funding he was after, so perhaps his commentary about sweeping changes was to get the govt and council to pay up and it worked.
But the issue is we are the worst team in the comp, and we play 5 home games a year where we have no home ground advantage. I doubt the players and coaching staff would be fans of this. It makes their jobs harder.Geez, at the end of the day I could not give a shit where they play. The decision to keep Magic round is the worst decision of all. We are a club that is stuck with at least 2 home grounds given our merger heritage and to take a game to a 4th venue is terrible. Magic round is not a home game for Wests, we will always play a QLD team there. $1.01 we play eels at Commbank and raiders at CSS. Madness
