It is with great sadness that we wish to advise of the passing of forum member and a hugely respected member of the Wests Tigers fan community Geo. Geo has been a highly active member of the Wests Tigers community for a long time and grew to be a wonderful leader of that community for many years.
Geo passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Friday night after suffering a heart attack.
After discussions with his family this afternoon this thread will be left open for comments that will then be collated and passed onto his family at a future time.
This is a great loss for our community but that pales in significance to the loss his family and his school community, where he taught for over 21 years, have suffered.
Thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time.
Rest in Peace mate, you will be greatly missed.
Please leave any comments for his family in this thread and they will be collated and passed onto his family.

I’m in shock. A wonderful bloke who will be greatly missed. Words are not enough. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP.
Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Terrible news, my thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Rest In peace Geo.
I'm stunned.
I never met him but he was one of the few on both forums who didn't take himself or football too seriously. His posts were clever (and sensible) and I'll greatly miss his contributions. Probably my favourite poster.
It's a very sad day for Tiger's supporters, I'm devastated to hear the news and my heartfelt sympathies go to his family and friends.
Go well Geo. 😥
OMG
I never knew Geo personally but read many of his posts on both Tiger forums.
It certainly puts life into perspective.
Rest in heavenly peace mate
This is terrible news. I never met Geo but from his quality posts I thought of him as a genuine good bloke, always humble, respectful, a true gentleman. I will miss Geo greatly. Rest in Peace.
My sincere condolences to his family.
A true Tiger until the end. RIP.

Condolences to Geo and his family, never new him personally but had a number of discussions and debate about the mighty wests tigers.
As a Magpies man hope Tommy is at the Pearly Gates with a beer and a chat
R.I.P
@cqtiger good post so true it puts a loss by the Tigers or in the case of 2022 many losses by the Tigers into perspective
The forum community is a unique one. We can speak with each other more often than friends in real life, we collectively share in the highs and lows of WT but also have a laugh and support each other in our tougher times.
Geo was someone who was a leader in the forum community. He made the forum a better place to be and will be sorely missed.
However his incredible input here is nothing compared to the contributions he made across his life.
All my energy and sincerest wishes go to his family and friends.
Rest in peace Geo
Top 8 2023
What an absolute shock. My heartfelt sympathy go out to his family and friends and also to WestsTigers Forum members on both forum sights.
I know for myself personally I always got a chuckle out of Geo and Happy with their slap stick routine of banter that went back and forth over the forum which always drew a laugh.
May you Rest In Peace Geoff….AKA:Geo

I'll always miss his one liners where you couldn't tell if he was having a crack at you or winding you up, that dry sense of humour will be missed for a long long time.
