Our logo is near perfect, just a tad bigger would be spot on.
I'd spend my coin on some classy well made merch.
I'd rather wear something that will last for yonks, look awesome and feel comfortable in rather that cheap crap that does the opposite.
Our jerseys for sale have decreased in quality... I won't buy or wear them. I'd spend 300bucks on something that oozes quality and class. There needs to be a range that caters for all budgets and tastes and not what the club just wants to push.
My son has just come back from the States and he said gridiron merch is insane.

Good to see you mate.
My NFL gear is really good quality as well.

Well I haven't seen a doctor since I last texted you mate, now that's a record ha ha.
I watched a doco called "World's Most Expensive Cruise" the other night and the chef hand carved an ice statue of the Statue of Liberty. As he was moving it into the freezer he bumped and knocked off the head and had to redo it, doh!....I thought of you mate ha ha.
I would be so depressed watching something that I've put so much time into making just to have it melt away....bit like the tigers seasons year after year ha ha.

I asked Pascoe about this, a few years ago.
He said the club would love to do big merch deal with a big manufacturer, e.g. Nike, but those big companies demand certain sales. So for example if you went ahead with Nike, they would need you to buy something like (grabbing a number from the air) 50 thousand jerseys in order to agree to deal with you. You'd have to move all those jerseys otherwise the club takes the cost hit.
And this is why basically none of the NRL clubs has really big-name manufacturers producing a wide range of gear - they don't move enough units. Broncos for example are probably near the top of the merch heap - they deal with Asics. Saints and Souths are Classic jerseys. Roosters are interesting, they use Castore, not sure when that started, but Castore have also recently started deals with a few English Premier League clubs. You may have also seen Castore during the Ashes because they do the English cricket team gear.
I do agree however that Steeden have not been making good jerseys. The media polo is OK, but the Steeden products have odd sizing - they are always too tight for me around the shoulders/armpits for the correct waist fit.
@jirskyr yeah the Steeden sizing is bizarre. The ISC stuff was consistent every year, I could just order at the start of the season and know it would fit. The Steeden stuff is wildly inconsistent. I also don’t really think the Steeden stuff is good quality at all.
Castore stuff is great. I have a Rangers jacket and the quality is excellent. Hopefully we explore that option in the future
@jirskyr Great info ol mate. I fully understand what your saying and I understand the club's angle on that.
Because I'm 7' and 130kg I obviously have bought a lot of tailor made clothing over the years. I have purchased some awesome first class items from China and some from Canada at a price way below it's equivalent here in Australia.
This obviously has a lot to do with cheap labour (Asia), mass production and maybe their company navigates around taxes and duties (I don't know this)
The point I'm trying to make is maybe the club could contract a company in Asia that is not a big name to produce these higher std pieces of clothing. They may have to continually change contractors as they do great things just to secure an initial contract. I know this as one of my sons is an importer of electronic components, motherboards etc.
The cap I got this year in my member pack was imo sub std and I gave it away at a market. It looked like it was made in Asia but a sub std-cheapy so the club could make some coin.
Whatever the solution is I'm not wearing the latest gear until things improve and I'm sure there are many who think like me (poor buggers ha ha).
I'm still wearing a black and gold unmarked jacket that I bought years ago because it's outstanding. It looks like WT gear but oozes quality.
I emailed the club earlier this year with all the points that I've mentioned and they said they would pass it on to marketing. That means straight to the bin ha ha.
Amazing how low the club has gone since the claws were removed. Unfortunately we haven’t hit rock bottom yet… Bring back the claws to stop the rot.
3 years without the claws and 3 wooden spoons. Dumbest decision the club ever made. Bring back the claws to put some power back in the Tigers.
Dumbest decision the club ever made
There have been much dumber decisions.
