Us poor old WestsTigers fans have been through the wringer for so long now it’s hard to put your faith in the people that are running the club.
I guess at some point our luck has to turn……Fingers crossed we see some evolving changes to the WTs in 2023.
Didn't mind that tbh. Thought they handled the Api situation well. They're never going to be overly transparent in these things, given so much of what they're doing is commercially and/or competitively sensitive.
Ultimately it's all meaningless waffle unless the results appear on the pitch.
Interesting that we have 29 signed up - I assume Talau is one of the extras. O'Kane the other?
Also reinforces my thoughts that we really need a dedicated head of football to sit above the coaching staff. Basically the same role as Sheens was doing 5 mins ago.

I would say that with the appointment of Furner, Benji and Robbie that Tim is maybe going to be a little less hands on as a coach than maybe the normal level of involvement. That should keep him able to wear the admin hat as well over the next couple of years.

Yeah I tend to agree.
That said, I just think the head of football (or whatever title you want to give them) is the most important position in a club in our situation. That we have someone on the job, part-time, at best, is pretty concerning.
I'm also concerned that McDonnell is back as our recruitment head, but that's another story.
Incidentally, I notice that Hartigan is now running pathways over at the Bulldogs.
Interesting how he describe the coaching set up.
Sheens - designs attacking system
Futner designs the defensive system
Farah to work with edges
Benji to work with middles.
Is this a new set up or does anyone else do this?
I like how there's cross over but also clear responsibility.
BTW- I would of though farah would be better middles and benji better edges - but obviously benji is the boss
