If us fans are feeling this excitement externally with a little drip feed of information, imagine how it must feel for the players, particularly some of the younger players who have been around the club for a couple of years that must have struggled seeing a positive future. This kind of stuff must be really motivating some of these guys.....
Not Nofa though apparantly.
The Nofa move would just add to the positivity around the place. Players would see that hard work is respected and they have standards to push each other to.
Just shows we are all of a sudden a professionally run club.
Inglis would not have even answered the phone to the previous management... I know it must help that Richo has a stake in the company that manages Inglis... but still very good to see.
The Mole reports that Latu Fainu and Jayden Sullivan have injuries and in their place is Lachlan Galvin.
Described as the next Nathan Cleary, he says the five-eight position in round one is Galvin’s at this point.

And yet the latest photos from training show Bud & Latu running and training with the squad whilst Galvin is in a moon boot. Pretty typical accuracy for the Mole.

Nothing about it makes sense. Benji said less than a week ago that all positions were up for grabs except Api. He’s not going to lose two halves and change his mind within a week
@the-last-ronin It all makes perfect sense as it’s information disseminated by The Mole, lol.

Api said today he died his hair blonde as punishment
Players setting standards
punishment for what?
Api did a long interview on one of the pods (bloke or Bye round?) During the off season, where he talked about player led punishments- such as dying hair, eating chilli etc
From memory he said at Panthers, one punishment was that another player could make a post from you social media account?
I'll have to find it and listen back.
But the essence was that it needs to be driven by the players, fun/humiliating
And I'm sure he said as captain he wanted to drive it and show he was to be held to account along with everyone else.
My guess, whike it sounds odd- is he by getting punished he's setting a standard for the club.

Articles about Galvin in both papers today
Both seem to suggest he could be in the running to play in our first game.
It would be a big call if he did

The club doesn’t seem to be playing it down so it could either be a genuine chance of happening or a complete smokescreen for someone else.

I can not beieve that this could be true. We have Sezer, who has played GF's, Sullivan who has played NRL, Fainu who has good Cup experience and they decide to go with a kid who has never played Flegg?
Cant happen, surely?

I reckon it will be Sullivan and Sezer with Galvin at best on the bench if he fires in the trials.
